Most DMPs in the industry work by assigning users to segments, and some by having an expiration date. This means they will always respond with "yes" or "no" to a simple question "is the user in that segment?". But what if the question is not simple?
Say for example that you show a user a list of products and he or she clicks on the 3rd, 7th and 21th. Why did he select those specific items? What is the price? What did they have in common? What does that mean about the user? What is he likely to purchase next time? What else would he be interested in?

At any and all times, all the data generated by the Profiling Engine is yours and yours alone. It is stored in a separate "bucket" belonging to your account and deleted you wish. It may sound basic, but many DMP providers out there mix data from clients or even use it for their own purposes.
All the data is stored in a private Avandor DMP instance.
When using the Profiling Engine you are the data controller and Avandor is processing on your behalf. Firing any call to the engine, will automatically presume you have the appropriate consent for profiling from your users for this activity.
